450R big bore motor for sale

hi

I have a 04 450R motor, with 12:1 JE 99mm piston ( 500cc), the head has been cleaned up, not a full porting, just cleaned up. and it was a baldwin drop in cam...works great and very reliable.

Motor was only built at the start of the summer and has very low hours on the top end.

Motor is painted, cases are red, side covers and top end it black, looks great....paint is scrachted up some, normal wear.

This is what the motor liked like at the start of the summer ( May-June ) when the bike was first built. You can see the side covers and top end are black and if you look good you can see the red cases.

i'm in university right now...i'll try to get a pic of the motor as it sits now, by the weekend.

here a couple pics of the motor I took tonight, like I said the paint is showing some wear, but still looks good when it's in a frame...motor was running perfect when I took it out.

I rebuilt the quad....suspension, pipe, paint...all the parts, not the motor.

All I did to the motor this summer was to put a 500cc big bore kit, 99mm 12:1 JE piston ( runs on pump gas...no need for expencive race gas ) cleaned up the ports and put a baldwin cam in it, the cylinder got a new nycasil coating when I put the big bore in...the motor didn't need a rebuilt, it was still in good shape...I just wanted more power, and rebuilt the quad ( I do it once or twice a year )

i just got a price quote on getting my motor completly rebuild with a bigger cam put in it for $1800 i will consider buying your motor if you can do a little better on the price

best I can do is 1700$ right now with shipping.

Don't forget that this motor has a 500 big bore kit, it will give you more power then a stocker with a cam....I have a cam in this on to.
