I was just wondering If should start giving the blaster allitle more respect, I'm kinda gettin tired of people sayin how slow and stupid blasters are. I keep hearing people say that you have to rebuild em all the time, and plugs are always fouling up, and theyre just plain useless. First of all, If you can't take care of youre blaster thats not the blasters fault! Second most of the guys that slam blasters are 450 riders, you give me a good blaster and I'll keep up with most 450's you throw at me on the track(where it takes skill not an 5k$ machine). Oh sure, I'm not askin Tim Farr, or Doug Gust to line up with me on a quad that cost more than my house, I'm just sayin on the mx track I'd give most big-bores a good fight.

i havnt seen much blaster bashing around latly. i have seen blaster that are super fast but i have seen even faster 300ex's. if u think u can keep up to a 450 on a blaster u must be a great rider. i have seen a blaster keep its own on the track with the 450s but the kid was sick at riding. the blaster had $14,000 in to it. a $10,000 450 with a evrty level rider will still beet a entry level rider on a $15,000 blaster . a blaster with $5000 in it will have a hard time keeping up with a close to stock 450. i have been racing 3 years and riding for a long time only seen one or two 300exs or blaster beet some 400's or 450's. i can see ur new here so read and not alot of people think blasters suck. some may say that cause there brand loyal. im not too loyal but i like suzuki and kawasaki the best and honda third. yamaha ant my fav but i sill dont dispize them.

this weekend at the GNCC, a blaster beat a couple hundred 450's and got 2nd overall.

i think he means the MX track. in the woods is not to much differnt. a smaller quad like the blaster will do well cuse it wil fit any wair.good job getting second. how much do u have in to ur blaster? i have about $6000 in to my 300ex with out motor work :( . i wasnt saying beeting 450s cant be done because i have done it on my 300ex, 3rd place on the Mx track in the mud ( i love mud). it takes alot of skill to beet 450s and u must have alot cuse 2 hours is a long time to race. i might try a GNCC next year on my 300ex. i wanted to get to uniddlia this year but i forgot about the race with eveything esle going on like building an other quad to race (lt250r)

I've beating alot of blasters on my 300ex, but alot of blasters have also beaten me, ive beaten alot of 450's as well,obviously a 450r is faster but if the rider of the quad is more talented then the 450 guy the 300 will win, ive hit jumps guys on 450's wont, 80% of the 450's will hit it, the other 20% wont be talented enough to hit it, its not really the "quad" like this jump...

yes alot of it is the rider i also ave beaten to many blasters but blasters also beat me i have a stock engine and there is not one baster that has beaten me with a stock engine but i can beat 75% of the c class that have 450s all the top 5 local races in my class can beat so many 450s we push each other to the limits and we are easily b class riders when we move up and im only 13

I called friend in TN and told him that I had some good news. I told him the next time he comes down to race at Calhoun SUpercross he can make it wround hte entire track becasue I was putting my new generator in the middle of the track so the 200' of drop coard would reach his motor no matter whaere on the track he was! LOL

blasters arent bad quads, i think they cost most to but compititive with 300s and be as reliable. blasters can be made fast as hell but ive seen faster 300s for less money.

Yeah, blasters are alright.

When I still rode my 400ex on the track I had a 11 year old kid keeping up to me with an INSANE blaster... there wasnt one stock part on this thing i swear. His dad was crazy fast on his YFZ, but since I got the ol' 450r no blasters are near me :D

first off kickers are made so you bearly have to be moving off them... second, the shocks on my blaster are better than the elkas you have on your 416.

Whoa!, Thats gotta be the most extreme jump I've seen for a blaster! I'll be the first to say I'm to chicken to think about that one.... The air is all rite ,but give me allittle groung and alot of speed and I'm happy! about 3-4 grand total including purchase price (450$). a large portion of it is custom... like all the engine work (my dad is a machinest). its an ongoing project i doubt will ever stop. my dad just sent my swinger down to me (i live in az now... going to motorcycle mechanics institute) so i can extend it.. then hopefully it'l be good for a while. im replacing 4th gear in the tranny right now... this is a pic about a week ago before i tore it apart. it was getting really dark so the pic sucks but you get the idea.
