i need a grab bar that wont break. both the stock one and some other one i got but forgot the name off becasue it was so damn long ago that it broke. point is i need a grab bar that wont break as soon as i stand it up on its rear. any susgestions on the strongest grab bar or even if theres someone out there that makes "scrape bars" for quads

get a super strong grab bar and you will be replacing sub-frames instead of grab bars.......................try brushing the rear brake before you hit ?

It's there to take the impact and break off before your subframe does. Subframes on 450Rs are aluminum so they really aren't meant to take the abuse your probably giving it. This is why your grab bars are breaking. All aftermarket grab bars that I know of are made of aluminum too, if you put something beefier on its just going to tweak your subframe. Best bet is to either make something yourself and reinforce your subframe somehow, or just dont scrape. Wheelies look cooler and make you look like your in more control when your not running down the pavement on your grab bar.

well that was when i was first learing to wheelie on the r so i had a tendency to hit hard. idk i guess i just need a stronger grab bar. and yes both times they broke i just taped the bar on the ground then hit the brakes, still broke.

most of the aftermarket grab bars are stronger than stock.
I went with the ac and im happy with it (has exhaust mnt in right spot and flag mnt, and its not too big. just my .02

I scraped my Moose Racing wide black grab bar off the pavement doing a wheelie at 70km/h and it didnt break... But it shure puckered up my bumhole for a while.

Not sure if this will work on not but here goes.

Thanks pappy for the pic, and the color scheme I wanted.
