I don't think it would be a weight issue. It's only layers of paint and it's on centimeters that would be sprayed. But yeah, sounds cool for the framing though i didn't like it on plastic. I thought about masking off some areas and spraying automotive Undercoat under the frame. That i would spray kinda thick and hope that it would protect from scrapes at the rocky trails. I'll post pix if I do it & definately want to see pictures of your project. It's going to look good!
