where i live, in city limits it is 11 on week nights and 1 am on weekends. but that is only within the city limits, once outside there is no curfew, but the one there is in city limits is not enforced. i was out counless times driving by two police station after 1 in the morning on school nights.

what license are you driving on?? if your 17 you should have a full license unless you didnt take drivers ed. im turning 17 the 25th and my juniors turns into a full that day. i've been driving daily since i passed my road test in june, 90% of the time not going to work and many times after 9. although it is illegal, you just have to be smart and make sure you dont do anything that could get you pulled over. if your on a permit or juniors and get pulled over after 9 not going to work, breaking "curfew" wont be the only issue, because the law states you are only allowed to drive to and from work if you have a juniors.

i have heard that if you are caught doing something wrong and not following the guidleines of your license, you can have it revoked until 21. that is why if you take the risk of driving before your full, you better be safe.

Yea thats how NY is. Untill you are 18 there even if you have your full licence you are on a sort of probation perriod and it is illegal to drive past 9. However if you aren't doing anything wrong then the cops don't have any reason to pull you over. Me and my friends used to drive all the time past 9 when we were still under 18. If you do get pulled over most of the time you will just get a slap on the wrists and be told to go home. I don't know anyone that got a ticket for that, but I don't imagine it would be anything more than 150 dollars or so.

Here in the little town of CC indiana you can not stay out past 11pm on week nights and 1am on weekends.

Way back when I was 17 and we got pulled over for doing a burnout and the cop wrote us a $10 ticket for being out past 11pm. By the way this was on spring break:grr:

The cop could write you a ticket....and its not a curfew, well i guess it is for driving but not for being out...if you took drivers ed you should be able to drive after 9, but if you didnt you have to be 18. I used to drive after 9 all the time, just dont mess around. dont give the cops a reason to pull you over. If they do, you could lose your licence for a period of time. Might have to take drivers ed or something like that to get it back.
