nerfs bend

i baught some used nerfs i don't know what brand but they look good. anyways they bend if i stand on them while getting on the quad. i only weight 120 so should they be bending or are they just cheaply made?

I weigh almost 300 pounds and i can stand on one side of my AC nerfs and they don't bend a bit. Make sure you've got them mounted securely. If you do and they still bend then i think you got some cheap nerfs!

how do yours mount?
mine have bars on the front where one slides into the other and that pretty strong but in the back they just connect behind the pegs and it is pretty flimsy.

in front mine connect to the motor mounts and in back they connect to the front of the footpegs

when they bend do you bend them back with your hands? If so you got some bad nerfs.
Make sure the tube that connects the 2 nerf bars together is above the frame not under it.

2 big fat kids were jumping on my nerfs once and bent them down a little. It took a sludge hammer to get them back to normal.

pro peg's are the style that attach to the frame where your stock pegs would normally bolt up to. sounds as tho you have the style that bolt up to the stock pegs.

when you say they "bend", do you mean the nerf itself bends or they tend to twist at the point where they bolt up to the pegs?
