i'm in a little delema here. at the mx track some jumps i hit i dont go as far as i want to, instead i just get big height, my dirtbiking frinds say that my suspension is set too soft theefore it is rebounding causing me to go higher, and the harder i have my suspension the less it will rebound on the face of the jump cauing me to go further isntead of springing me higher.... is this true?
p.s i have stock shocks front and rear

stiffness of the shock doesn't play nearly as big as a role as your rebound of the shock. The rebound is what springs you up and off of the jump.
