Has anyone rode with a crf 450 quad or raced against one???? If so how does it compare to the cannondale 440??? One more question, do you guys think it's possible to make a 400ex competitive with one of those quads?????

We almost have our CRF done! Its going to be a close race against the Moto. You better have deep pockets to make a 400ex competitive against one of those!

Trying to get back on subject. Our EX had +2 a-arms, +4 axel and PEP shocks and a TMM built 440 stroker built to the max. When we got the C-dale it out preformed it by alot. Once we put the YZ426f in, it was quicker than the C-dale by just enough to keep us using the YZ. We are now building a 450. According to what we have read so far. The new 450 bike out preforms the 426 by alot. Guess we are going to find out how it holds up under quad conditions.

Looks like I'm gonna need to bring my goggles just to watch..

And back to the topic,,,a highly modded 400ex can run with them 2 other beasts..but yes you better have some money...at the TT race in bardstown,,Big Bad Angela Moore won numerous races on her modified 400ex,,she was up against everything in the open class..
