Specificaly for the montie carlos, buick regals, those cars. I'm looking to get more info about my 86 regal, and what to do with the rear end, motor etc.

Good info there. As far as a rear end, your car should have a 7.5", you can replace it easily with a 8.5", which came stock in Monte SS's, GN's, and 442's......the most standard size in a 8.5" is 3.73 too. Although, some of the GN's had 3.42's. You most likely have 2.56's if you have a stock rear. I had a 7.5 w/ 2.56, threw a 3.73 in there, made a HUGE difference, plus a 7.5 with decent gears will handle 400 HP range.:)
