bored with the 440 what else can i do?

i have a 440 kit with a high comp piston port and polish hd valvesprings has the head shaved down hot cam stg 2 and a degree key what else can i do to get more power i was thinking of maybe boring it to a 460 and/or could i get oversized valves what do they cost? any suggestions would help, thanks

you get get a stroker.

Aside from stroking your motor you can get a higher compression piston, aftermarket carb, buy a different cam, have your whole head rebuilt with a 3 angle valvejob/aftermarket valves/springs/retainers/hard face rockers.

Although your head is already ported you can look into more aggressive porting too.

Get a 14:1 comp piston (if they make them for a 400ex) and run on straight race fuel. Stroker kit, aftermarket carb etc...

The next thing I would do at this point is get a different carb. You can pick up a 450R carb for cheap, and it is supposed to make a HUGE difference, especially with big bore engines. That would probably be the best "bang for the buck". You could also get an FCR, but they are quite a bit more money.

i have a pipe lol i am not that stunned, i was thinking of a hybrid but not sure yet and i think fst makes a 500 kit might go with that
