need help kinda quick.

i have a 300ex. i want a new clutch lever ans perch and was wondering if a hotstart lever would work for reverse? i have to qrder some things today and i was gonna order it with the other stuff. please let me know. thanks.

It should work just fine. You can just connect the stock reverse cable to the hotstart lever.
