The hood has a couple coats of clear and it can be waxed after it's completely dry.

On the black one I put some 3m clear film over it, goes on like tint and is super thick, like graphic kits. Bought that on EBay. I'm going to do the same for the red one too. Neither hood has been used while riding, the quad has been down for about 5 months now. This weekend I plan on turning some heads though. :D :eek2:
