Alright I have a 2005 400ex...And I was wondering if there was a way to loosen up the shocks....the front shocks just seem way to stiff for me...If anyone knows....Please Help me out. Thanks

yes you can loosen them up and stiffen them up, thats what the different notches are for on them........

no sir you cannot adjust them i have no clue what notches...wtf.400 shocks are not(fronts) but 450 shocks are

the notches are for ajusting the preload im pretty sure. the 400 shocks are preload ajustable only.

Yeah the pre load stick it on the first notch. Jack it up b4 you try to turn it cause it makes it turn easier.
That will soften the spring rate making the ride softer.

How much are you sellin them for? what model are they? Let me know all the info you can think of. I weigh about 155.
