Depends who builds your engine. First mod get rid of the back balloon tires for a flatter profile. Like fast trekkers lol

I have a 385 kit in mine and its been reliable so far.Its all bore and no stroke.I refuse to increase my stroke.I dont want to change the present engine characteristics. It will be reluctant to rev if i did that.It already has gobs of torque now with the stock stroke. It runs a bit hotter but i have added an oil cooler.

I got the kit off eturd for $100.It cost me another $100 to have the sleeve put in.i bored my cases myself. It has a je piston, its a profab atv kit.For a stock 300,start with a good exhaust system or slip on.when its time for a freshening up go with a higher comp piston or the 298cc piston kit;) This will be one of your biggest bang for the buck too.

Just about anybody has the 76mm piston kit.wiseco sells the .080 piston. You'll have to have your cylinder bored but thats about it.Try and pick up a 400ex carb if you can.i think you'll be surprised at how well it runs. You'll be smoking piped warriors:D

i had a 406 12.7 stroke and 86mm bore on a 250x, rev'd amazingly fast! this was a reliable quad only thing i had a hard time doing was getting the jetting right, you need to get rid of the stock carb and def. invest in at least a 38mm carb.
