bigger piston

i have a 96 300ex and i was wondering if i could put a bigger piston in it without boring it any and putting in a different cam or sleeve i would like to make it faster than my friends 03 300ex my mods are 14t sprocket k&n filter, fmf megamax 2

well, you can get a higher compression piston, but it'll have to be the stock bore size

there's not way you can fit something bigger in the same size whole, it's not possible, so yes, you would have to bore it, or if you wanted to, like mxracer08 said, you could just get a higher compression piston, but if you really wanna make a difference then bore it

also, as far as i know your 300 with pipe and K&N, should beat his 300(if it is stock), they have the same engine, tranny, everything that would make a speed difference, so you should already be able to beat him, you can get other mods too.....like a bigger carb, or a mild cam
