i have an 03 300ex and i already put 400ex aarms and shocks i wanna make my rear better would you suggest to make it a 400 rear end (if possible)or is their another way that you think would be better, when i say rear i mean swinger, shock, axle. cheapest way, possibly 250r swinger with some sort of shock?

A 350x swinger, shock and axle are an easy swap. A search should bring up the info you need. I have seen a few folks doing 450r swingers but it isn't as easy as the 350x swap. I've heard that the 250r swap can be done but I haven't seen too many of them.

yo did you have a problem with you Bajas rubbing your calipers on the front? I got some 3-2 offset yesterday, and I had to grind down the inside ring like all the way.

The 450 is easy too, just need to adda tab onthe frame for the linkage.I had a 350x swinger first but the aluminum 450 swingarm is so much lighter.Remember losing weight is the same as adding hp.i had a 89 250r swingarm on a 300ex i sold a few years back. That swap is just like the 450.Heres a pic of the 450,also do a search as Tarheel rider went more indept on the procedure.

use a 250r rear shock or the 350x shock. The 450r shockwont fit the frame because of the sideways nitrogen body. You may have to use a couple washers to space the swinger to align it with the engine sprocket, not sure.I cant remember if i had to on the 450 swinger or not,i did have to on the 350x swinger though.I see 450 swinger for like $75 on eturd all the time. You will need the axle too.A 400ex or 350r axle will work as well,im usinga 400ex axle.I heard a 300ex axle can fit if you make some kind of spacers but i havent seen it done.
