i'm sure some of you are sick of hearing about my truck...but i've got an idea that i want some opinions on:chinese:
my truck is originally a half ton (93 ram 150) as soon as it gets back from the shop i'm installing a 3/4 ton 4'' lift kit. the truck is a standard cab short box. by no means a huge truck. it's got a 318 mated to a 727.
now...i've been kicking around the idea of another motor & tranny swap:p heres the catch-----i'm thinking of swapping in a 24v turbo cummins and a 6-speed:eek2: if i do it, i will buy a 95 or newer (switched from 12v to 24v in 95) 2500 with the cummins and 6-speed. i'll then proceed to swap the motor and tranny into my truck, and put the 318 and 727 back into the 2500. i'd have to change the front crossmember to bolt up the motor, and probably the tranny crossmember as well. the axles would be swapped, along with custom driveshafts, etc....
the wiring harnesses would obviously be swapped too.
i know that i wouldnt be able to use the power properly
 im not concerned about that. but you diesel owners know the hp and torque those motors can put out with a little bit of work.. i don't really need the power...
i've always liked the looks of stacks on the older dodges...but i'm not about to put up with the ridicule of running them with a gas job:blah: this would give me an excuse to run some stacks.
now...on paper it sounds good to me...is there anything i should be concerned or worried about???
