450r build up ?

Im doing a rebuild on a buddys bike. He wants to build a really fast 450r we want to make big power with his bike we need some setup information and hp numbers and safe compression thanks for any input to make this happen

What kind of numbers do you want?
Want to run race fuel or stay on pump gas?
What kind of reliability are you looking for?

What year engine are you planning to use? 04/05 or 06/07?

Do you want this power naturally aspirated? Would a bit of "spray" work for you. And by that...I mean Nitrous Oxide.

To get 60+ naturally aspirated HP out of these 450 engines...it would probably have to be a stroker of 500+ cc's. I'm not saying a stock bore and stock stroke can't make 60hp....but it gets expensive either way!

Dan Lamey of DASA claims to make 70horse out of a stock bore stock stroke 04/05 motor. So it is possible.
