I recently popped my idle cable and my idle was so low it would just die without throttle held open, but I got it to a decent RPM now. So I now notice my idle is a little choppy, like jetting is off. I have a JE 416 10.8:1 (moly/thermal'd), hotcam stg 2, cometic gaskets, e-series no S/A, Twin Air air filter. 165 main 42 pilot. I'm at sealevel, when i press the gas it lags a little and catches on. Is jetting off?

MIne does the same thing. It will idle higher then it will act like it is chocking out. But it only dies when it is still cold. When the engine is hot it will act like it is choking out but will not die. I Belive mine is the cam. Sounds like a full blown race engine at idle.

mine is the same way, sounds almost like a smallblock chevy.I can leave it running outside then go into the house for a minute,it sounds mean as hell, almost shaking the walls in the house,i think its actually sounds better than my 450sx mx bike :D
