Hey everybody I'm pretty new here, first post in this section. Anyway I'm from suburb of Salt Lake City and like to ride the mountain trails best, but do end up out in the high desert/salt flats from time to time. Anyway here's some pics of my last ride up Bountifull Canyon.

i like holshots, but razrs are good for trail riding, when i get new tires i want holshots, but if all you do is trails, razr's are probably your best call

Welcome! But yea, Razr's or holeshots would be really good. I got Razr 2 rears and Razr fronts and they are awesome.

Just be sure to get a 6-ply rating.

u got alotta those caves out there? ever go in them?

Luvmyex------ Yea, there are alot of great places to ride espcially in the South. There's an effort right now to connect all the trail systems from N to South so you'd never have to get off the 4 wheeler all the way from Northern AZ to Yellow Stone. I can't wait until they publish the map.

idon'tknowwhoiam--- There are some natural caves, but many more old abondanded mines, like this one. They are extremely dangerous and most times toxic. They used Arsinic way back in the day to seperate out the gold or what ever. They are bad news. That said, yep, I went in as far as the light would allow. Not much to see in there though.

Oh, one more thing for you guys. What type of wheel would you reccomend for this kind of riding? Best for the money and I'm not spending $500 buck a wheel.

I recommend these wheels connected to this machine for that type of riding.

That's funny I got past on the trail by one of those (without the extra set of tires) when I was trying to get my flat tire wheeler up a paticularly nasty section.

I was pretty surprised it did so well on that tpye of terrain.

I keep a plug kit with me and an air pump

So do I, but neither one helped the 3" gash in the side wall from a paticularly sharp rock. Good idea though.

Donkey I think in Dec you'll need these around Logan.

Rentals (http://www.beavercreeklodge.com/snowmobile_rental/rates.htm)

I don't know about ATV rentals that time of year.

Good Luck and have a great time.
