My 96 300ex Buildup

Well, I bought a 96 300ex for 100 bucks..:devil: And my goal is to build it better then my first 300ex. The plans so far are 400ex full rear end. 400ex a-arms and 450r front shocks, lots of motor work, and much more. Heres a pic of my old 300ex, I think I have some work ahead of myself to out do my old baby.

Quick question, when you did the 450r shocks on the 400ex arms did they bolt right on up? And how do ya like that setup?

I didn't even start welding on the frame yet, linkage mount needs to be added, some frame mods, shock mounts on front are being moved, ect ect. I'll write up full details as I go along. :devil:

Swell... You think it would be the same on an 04? Since I'm off at college not much ride time is bein done... So I figured if i scrape together some cash might as well do somethin to the quad :D

It actually wasn't a POS, Just little things wrong with it, and the kid was sick of it sitting in his garage, But really I could care less, I got a 300ex for 100 bucks, and thats all she wrote. :devil:

That's one hell of a deal! Was the frame already pc'd when you got it too? I really like that color... What all you gonna do to the motor?

Frames not pc'd its paint. And for motor work, I believe 80 over, port and polished head, cam, tc or some other custom shorty and headpipe, and a 400ex carb should do some damage. hah
