a stock one is just like $60 dollars...

It's made of such mild steel, I don't think its worth fixing. Any good roll will bend a stock stem. I went through three before I finally decided to get an aftermarket one, which is made out of 4130 chromoly. The only problem w/ that is, when you take the next good hit, you will be breaking $90 bars instead of a $60 dollar stem.

i just had some 1.125 chromo laying around shoved some 1" chromo inside it then welded it up. made it 2" higher. ive rolled it since then and it took it fine even the bars didnt bend.
