Clean chain

is it probably ok to clean the side plates of my chain with a wire brush as long as the wire brush doesnt touch the o-rings?

I just took 2 tooth brushes and tapped them together so that the brushes were facing each other then I put my quad up on a stand and put it in gear and let it idle. Then I would put the chain as its moving between the brushes and thats how I clean it.

you could do the same for the outside.

i just use a rag and some kerosene. It only takes one swipe of the fingertips to get the gunk from between the pins. doesn't take as long as you would think.
