My idle cable popped, how do I adjust the idle without the knob on the left side of the carb (left side from seated position)

calm down...that little cable is only about $15 and can be easily replaced...i did this for my friends 400ex...but until then, see this thread... http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=257747 which is actually your other thread...follw the instructions there...no need to start another topic...

Thats why I made naother thread, I don't know what the thorttle stop screw is, or what it looks like.

mine did the same thing....... ive figured out now though that its better to push the throttle in when your adjusting your idle so that there is no resistance on the screw
