View Full Version : bros yfz 450 stumping a 250 r dirtbike

My bro dragged a 250r 4 stroke that had daul stock pipes and was brand new and smashed it and his quad is all stock except a gytr slip on .. wierd lol he pulled every gear against it .. i thought the dirtbike would rip by him cause d-bikes rev faster.. but the yfz did have 200 more cc of power i guess. i was pretty amazed lol

All I know is my buddies 06 250f took me stock. Anyone know what kinda power these bikes make?

They're in the 30-35 range.

about 35-36 stock. i 125 2 stroke will make between 32 - 34 stock.

i saw my friend waste a pred on a 85 250f. and i saw my friend waste a yfz on that same pred.:D. my 250r and my buddies piped and bored 125 dirtbike are about the same speed. my r would prolly win in a race but they are pretty close

125 2 stroke will make between 32 - 34 stock.

Except the Ktm 125 2 stroke.It makes almost 38 hp,which is more than ALL of the 250fs.The thing is though the 4 stroke has a broader spread where the 125 2 stroke has a narrow powerband.
Most riders find the 250f easier to ride because theres less shifting involved.But for sheer acceleration a ktm 125 is the fastest 125 class bike you can buy.;)

yes and the KTM 125 is f'n awsum and a blast to ride, would take that over 250f anyday..

ya i rode an '03 last wk, and that thing ripped. it smoked my 400, and it smoked a z400 that was there too. they r so much fun
