i have a 2000 400ex what i want to know i seen people convert there brake light to really make it look like a brake light..
meaning when they hit the brakes it brightens up just like a car does...

does anyone have the idea on how this is done...

and NO im not buying the convertion kit off ebay...1st off i hate ebay and to cheap to buy it and it might only be a wire that needs to be added...lol

if any one has a idea on how its done feel free to let me know...
thanks

i bought the kit off of ebay...great kit and john(the guy selling the kit on ebay) is great to work with. i was one of the first people to buy his kit.

first off for just the rear pedal, you will need a switch, a spring toactivate the switch and wireing, along with the right tips to plug into the currnt electrical system. there are 2 ways you can go about doing the light itself. one is to buy a new style tail light or like i have on mine, cut 2 holes in the rear of your current light adn add 2 bulbs and sockets.

for the front, you will need a switch to mount to the front brake lever and wiring and the correct ends to plug into the electrical system...

i'll do pics for you later, when i have some time to go take some...
