what is the ideal way to set the toe-in / out on the 450? when I compress the front it toes out. wtf?


+2 jd a-arms, works stock triple rebuids

it toes out??? that should not be possible unless you custom build your suspension to do just that. if anything it should add more camber as it compresses.

is there any chance that you have your tie rod ends upside down on your spindles. I have seen this and it makes this happen.

im positive your tie rods are upside down i did exactly the same thing..the tire rods should be even with the aarms and the toe in/out shouldnt change when the suspenion is compressed

ok so here is the stupid question!!!!!!

tie-rod in from the top or bottom? I thought it was close to the rim!!!! It all makes sense!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you!!!!!!!

(this is what i get for taking **** apart without my new parts and letting it sit for 2 weeks!)

actually the toe does change, not positive weather it is in or out though... it is called bump steer.

i thought the camber changes. the bottom of the tire gets pushed out as it compresses. maybe it only toes out a little and thats why i havent noticed it.

yeah true im pretty sure your right about bumbsteer..but after he flips the tire rod around it will seem like they arent moving at all haha..ive done the same thing it makes more sense when your putting everything together to put the ball joint in from the top not the bottom
