I have a 2004 400ex and I just purchased Armadillo A-Arm skid plates, Chasis Skid plate and swingarm skidplate. First of all does anyone run these and how do they hold up? They look like one of the toughest on the market and get good reviews. Also, how easy are they to install? Will I need a jack of some sort to get the bike off the ground? Any suggestions would be a huge help? Thanks.

turn the gas off stand it up on the grab bar and let it sit for around 30 min to a hour before you ride it after putting it back level

i have run the swinger skid on my 400ex and the 300ex...both held up like you would not believe...never bent or anything, unlike all other skids i have tried(at least until i put the .250 thick prm on the 450r)

easy to install, you can leave all 4 wheels on the ground too...not any easier if you stand it up...at least not enough to make the strain on my back worth that

yea i guess you can do that i just use a shop chair and sit down so i am near it i pop the clutch to stand it up usually so theres no strain on my back idk you can do it either way its just personal preference

I'm running the swinger skid, it's tough.
