Water proof electrical grease all wire connections. ( i think it is called dielectrical grease)

Run a Airbox lid with a outwear on the airfilter.

Make sure all seals, bearings and bushings are lube with water proof grease.

make sure your exhaust joints are tite

make sure all joints in the throttle cable are sealed

there is a small weep hole in the bottom of the throttle block that should be sealed

in the event that water does make it way into the throttle block. i always fill the block with cable lube before installing the cap.

apply marine grease to the plug boot before slippin it on the plug

drill a 1/8" hole at the bottom of the steering stem. this will prevent it from filling up with water and have the tank vent hose to draw the water into the fuel tank.
