Some of you have seen me post about this quad before. I have some better photos now and thought I'd share. It's not posted for sale yet anywhere else, but will be soon with more pics - in better light. Here's a teaser to you guys on atvriders. Post questions/request specific pictures and I'll do my best to give whatever detail you want.

Here's a couple details up front:
I have the CA title from the original owner who released liability in April this year
As far as I know the only aftermaket part on this quad is a Uni filter
There is no touch up paint anywhere with all original stickers and plastic

Long live the R!

I don't know that it was kept up so nice, it's just that I think it was basically never used! The original owner was some rich old guy in Los Angeles. Apparently he had other unused toys too like an LT500 laying around. Thanks for the bump! Ya, I think it's still the best quad ever made. If you can achieve the same or better result with a more simple design, it's a better design.

So what are you asking for it? That is one sweet bike, its depressing that you can't go down to the Honda Dealer and get one new. Man do I miss the good old days, these 4-strokes just aren't the same.

I'll take the best offer that's over 6k probably. 250Renvy found me a link to a January ebay auction where a blue one in about the same condition sold for $6600. A red one from the same seller went for $7650. Those bidders are what I'm basing the market value on for this guy.

And yea, I agree, the 4strokes are not the same for me either. I don't care for how they feel much less how much money it seems they cost when things start wearing out. I have the red counterpart quad to this blue one too in the same condition (same orig owner). I've debated keeping it for myself. I already own an 88 and a mint original 89 too though... lol But, I figure this way I won't have to go to 4stroke.

Here are a couple better pics that I'll start to advertise with. I haven't looked into shipping, but if you're interested, it's in So Cal.

Know too that this is not a restoration 250R. There is no touch up paint, has all honda decals, plastics and I'd guess even the top end. When I went through it I removed the plastics and skid plates to detail it and also for my own curiosity.

I can create an .mpg if you want to hear it run. Also, if you I have more pictures, so if you're curious, just give me shout. Once I advertise, I don't know how long I'll have it.
