View Full Version : aftermarket tail/brake light?

does anybody have an aftermarket tail/brake light on their quad? i smashed my stock 450r light into a million pieces and instead of buying another stock one i was hoping to find something more low profile, maybe brighter with led bulbs. my friend had a led tail light on his z400 that he bought off ebay last year but now the company/ad is nowhere to be found. if anyone can help me out thatd be great.

Hmmm, I can still find them on ebay. They are chrome/ metal and you can get them in I think red or blue LED's.

i had a semi tail light laying in the garage.Got bored one night after working on the quad so i rigged it on there.IMO it looks pretty good and is very bright.It is from peterson lights their pirahna series.

My buddy used a semi-light on his 400ex. He got a piece of polished diamond-plate, cut out the hole, and stuck in a flush-mount LED marker light in there. He went around the diamond-plate with that chrome door trim stuff for car doors too, so it looked finished. It's bright as hell, and looks pretty good on there too.

I had that guy customize one for me too. They're pretty nice.

There used to be more on ebay but I can't seem to find them.

The YFZ one is the nicest looking one IMO. However I would love to see maybe an aftermarket one meant for a crotch rocket grafted onto a quad somehow. It would look sick.

is the yfz plug in different that the 450r one? i would assume so since they are different brands but if they were interchangable i would get one of those
