Just put on new HMF full system with Powercore 4 exhaust and a powerbomb header pipe. Honda told me to start with a 145 jet and that was too lean.... Didn't even hardly mark the plug. Put a 148 jet in and just barely got a smudg of light tan on base of plug.
Also sort of a crackling or popping in exhaust... Is this still too lean. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What kind of quad do you have?
If you have a 400ex, move to a 152, 42 pilot, put needle on 3rd clip, 2.5 turns out air/fuel screw.
What do you mean "...just put on a new HMF full system with Powercore 4 exhaust and a powerbomb header pipe...". You have three exhausts?

Needed to adjust the needle and fuel screw. Got it doing fine now and the sparky looks good too. Runs like a raped ape now that I got the pipe and filter done. It's like it grew a set of nads overnight.
