Looking at 05 450R..Need Advise

Hi Fellas
Im new to this board and I was wanting to see wat yall think about this 450R Im looking at. The only thing Im worried about is the guy that has it owns a repair shop. He sold it to a guy and two days later the fella brought it back with the right side case cover cracked around the kickstarter and somthing was out of line with the kick starter spindle. Has any one herd of this before??? Ive done looked for parts and they are plentiful... I can get the bike for around 3 grand like it is and do the work my self or let him fix it and get it for about 4300. The only thing done to it so far is a filter , jet kit and full exhaust. Just looking around for some opinions.

I would not buy it. It sounds like he gave it gas when kicking it and the kicker kicked back hard and broke the case.

$300 more and you can have a new 450R.

id buy it, don't have to make payments or anything just get insurance, i say buy it, fix it and ride it.

Here ya go man.. This WAS mine.. Simple fix. The cover brand new from MOTOSPORT.com cost me $113.89 with free 2day fed-ex shipping. I changed the bearings and new water pump for reliability so all in all it cost me about $200 with everything.
