WHAT IS THE BUDGET???

WHO IS SELLING THESE USED R PARTS???

Pappy
09-30-2006, 12:53 PM
This is for the main man of our local Honda dealership. He has always wanted a kickazz R and no he will have one. I am not sure on his budget, I know he already has most of the new parts and I believe this will be a trail quad.

I can sell his parts for anyone thats interested.

Any word on the fate of the motor? I've got two dead 86 motors, I could always use another :)

Just from looking at it in the frame, it needs a new left hand center case, and someone welded the shifter to the shaft:p It feels like it has good compression, but IMO needs a complete rebuild

ANY UPDATES????

Pappy

It is completely torn down. The pivot bolt is seized so I will have to break out the plasma cutter. The lower left bumper mount is smashed and I will have to cut it off and rebuild it.

Long list of small parts needed for rebuild, but thats usual with a 250R

Not only did you fix the problem, but you have improved the original design IMO. Now it looks like the OEM side is the weak point.

Pappy WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE
FOR YOU TO GIVE US A PRICE BREAKDOWN
ON HOW MUCH THIS COMPLETE REBUILD COST
IT COULD BE A GOOD PLATFORM TO SHOW
WHAT YOU WOULD CHARGE TO DO A SIMILIAR
REBUILD ON ANOTHER CUSTOMERS R
THANKS

Pappy

Roughly $500 for all the pc work, and $500 for tear down and reassembly. Parts prices vary depending on whats needed, and what brands are requested etc.

If memory serves, the owner is supplying most of the new parts, right? A complete rundown on costs would be a bit misleading...
