Ok, as sme of you might have seen I'm restoring (trying) a 1984 Yamaha 225dx. The last owner (my dad) used it for hunting and spray painted it camo:D Well, now I want to return it to the stock sky blue plastic. What can I use to remove the paint?

If it's just on plastic probably a pressure washer.

paint thinner should do it. if for some reason it doesnt work on the plastic, i used fine grit sandpaper and sanded off the spray paint i had on a quad

If you use a chemical you should test it on a small area of the plastic first just to be safe.

I bet most of that stuff is gonna screw with the plastic, get a pressure washer with a heating on it and get it hot and blast away.......... my buddy has spray paint on his and hit it with the washer and no more paint....

Paint thinner wont harm plastics.. we use to use it on body pannels that got road tar on it down at the shop. Paint stripper wont either. It'll take a little bit of the hardness out of the plastics and make them flex a tad bit more but other then that it shouldn't harm the color of them or make them deformed

Spray paint is an enamel paint. There aren't a whole lot of products that will desolve and remove an enamel paint without also softening your plastic.
