05 400ex headlights

what type bulb do they take i was wondering im looking into HID kit but i dont know what type of bulb it takes also what i would have to do as far as the startor would i have to upgrade? any input thnx

I put a outlander 400 bulb in mine they're 30 watt and stock 400ex is a 25 but i cant tell a difference and the BRP bulb is 10 bucks cheaper if u wanna save some $
