05 400ex Just got my HMF slip-on

Just put my HMF slip-on on tonight and jetted it :devil:
Wow is it loud :D Would have posted video and pics but to late tonight nieghbors giving me the evil eye from the noise:mad:
Anyways if your thinking about a pipe for your 400 id recommend the HMF super loud but runs killer I smoked the tires and hit the rev limiter for the first time and I dont have 20's I have 22 inch tires and smoked them through 4th:) But ill post that video for others I couldnt find a good sound clip of a HMF before bought it.
P.S. Id buy the set up on ebay for 227.95 I went to HMF and payed more but oh well im happy.As far as jet sizes 152 main 42 piliot and dynojet needle clip set at 3rd notch 05 has non adjustable clip so lame !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just ordered mine today. Did you get the quiet core with it? It is supposed to be around 96db with it in.

Hey did you change the chain when you put on the 13 tooth front sprocet? did you bump to 23's on front? aim thinking of going with setup. Thanks

I have the HMF slip on my 05 and it is def loud like he says.

No I just got a 13th sprocket from honda $16.51 and adjusted the chain takes 5 minutes :) Im running my stock front tires for now but will goto 23's when they wear out.I ran out of money for now lol Im sure if you go with this set up youll like it.
