who runs the 480 kit on there 450r? do you like it or have any trouble with it?

I run it, no trouble on it. I wish it were a little higher compression but I do like the fact that it is moly coated for less friction and has larger coolant passages for better cooling.

Had it for over a year with no problems and updated the piston too a HH 14:1 for little more power!

I too have a 480 cylinder I can sell, it needs to be replated though.

What kind of cam were you guys running with the 480 kit? What else did you have done? Porting?

Is it a huge increase over stock?

I'm thinking about doing this to mine, right now my motor is stock besides the HRC Kit.

I have the new hc stage 3 and ported head,lectron carb and it does lot better than stock with hrc!!

My buddy that is building engines did it I would recommend sending it to Kbr too have it done!!
