Damn, that looks good!! I like the color combo you chose, looks stealthy!!! I was always originally planning on going with a color scheme similar to yours but after seeing one of my friends with black plastic, and how it looked after only a few months, I couldn't do it! Nice R though man and keep us updated on the rest of the buildup!! What motor mods are you doing?

i dont know what your plans are for it, but those 20 year old shocks look bad on it (like any R) if you have the money upgrade to some aftermarket shocks, not only will it perform better, itll look better too....what do you have planned for the motor? looks real good man....post more pics as it comes along

thanks for the comments, as for the motor when i bought the bike it had 2nd gear blown threw the case so i have been hunting down cases, and i think i just found a donor motor, but the motor that will be in there is a ct 330 after i get it all swaped over. as for the shocks those arent staying very long i bought a set of works with rezzies they just have to be sent out to be rebuilt, also the plastic isnt black, i painted them black with flex additive to everything, should hold up did the same thing to a friends plastic over a year ago and its held up great, today i got my seat back with the kandk cover and i put on one side of the graphic kit, really wish i had black wheels..

Did you clear coat the parts? My friend bought a clear coat that is meant for automotive All Terrain vehicles. I think it's made by Dupont and I'll see if I can get the PN/Code for you.

Your build looks pretty good. My original '86 project frame was painted a Mitsubishi blue that I found on a friend's Pajero mini.

Pic will explode if you click it:eek2:
