400 ex+440big bore= 450r carb???

i recently got a '01 400ex. been looking into getting the 11.1:1 440 big bore kit and stage2 cam setup. would a 450r carb be jetted close enough to be a bolt on and go or will i still have fun trying to dial it in?

another quick question..... this setup is going to be sick isnt it:devil:

probly yeah it will be torque and top end monster but i heard they are slow at acceleration.. but just get sum upgraded cooling parts cause ur going to be making a lot more heat ! good luck

Chances are your gonna have to rejet it for your application.Get the fcr if you can afford it.;)

the 450R carbis not a direct bolt on mod, you have to make it work...and no the jetting won't work first time around, you will have to rejet.

I had one, and would do it again.
