400ex carb time?

I think its time to upgrade :). Okay well here is my question. Will it fit with the stock boots? Or do I definently need a 350x boot. Also does the 300ex cable work with it? Just let me know what I need to go through with this.

run a 350x or 400ex boot, and the 300ex cable works.

We used the stock boot and 400ex cable. Worked great.
