Dont buy Powermadds.

First, everyone and there mom has them. Second they are over priced. Third they are ****ty. By ****ty I mean they suck. They will loosen up after the first ride. Then you will have to tighten them every time you ride.

Powermadds are WAY over rated.

Yes I have owned them before.

The Cyrca's are nice and so are the ACERBIS. I dont really have expericance with anything else.

But I would stay away from the Powermadds and go with some Cyrca Stealths or ACERIBIS Rally with the shield.

Don't get moose is what my advice is. Mine lasted for about 6 months before the bolts broke that hold them on. Never even hit anything with them:ermm:

my brothers powermadds seem to be fine, just a little loose but nothing horrible

My powermadd's are nice but god damn the loose thing use to piss me off so bad I'd be at breezewood or rausch and it would be atleast once a day I'd have to tighten them..

I put lock tite on the bolt's and they havent moved since.... :scary:

I've had Acerbis Rally II on all my ATV's and Bikes. They give you the full hand protection without being very bulky looking or heavy.

I've used Powermadds for a pretty long time.

I've yet to have a problem with them loosening. I've ran them hard on two of my bikes, and never had to tighten them up except for when I first put them on.

I think you guys maybe arn't tightening them up enough in the first place.

When I ran Acerbis they fell apart....I'll stick with the Powermadds. Many extra features, very durable, better mounting(in my opinion, especially for Flexx bars), along with the looks.

Unless you're into freestyle, any two or three piece (guard with mount arm) suck (Powermadd, Acerbis flags, etc.). They will offer no protect except from small rocks and mud. If you want to actually protect your hands, get either a bark-buster style (large aluminum bar with plastic deflector attached or a one-piece molded guard (i.e. Acerbis Rally-pro, Rally-II, etc.). Just make sure they are attached on both ends of the guard.

I have also owned powermadds...

Good luck with whatever you pick. :chinese:

I run the Powermadds with the Hand Wrap Kit. They offer plenty of protection.

If you hit something hard enough that a set of Powermadds with the hand wrap won't hold up to, then you will have much bigger problems then your hands hurting.

Id say powermadd. I have a pair on my z and have never had to titen them. I also flipped my qoud end over end at the track and bent my bars and subfram but my powermadds didnt crack or anything. I also have the hand wrap though. I picked it up on ebay for like $10. Id say get the powermadds and the hand wraps and you wont need any other handguards for a long while.

Yeah, I saw them a long while back before they were actually for sale.

Very cool idea, but I don't like the styling as much as the Star Series..
