250R Axle And 400EX Axle

Are the splines on the end of the axle the same on a 250R axle as on a 400EX axle, i bought a Lonestar 400EX axle and everything fit fine except the wheel hubs off my 400EX dont fit my new axle and i asked the guy if they should fit and he said my stock 250R wheel hubs should fit and i told him i had a 400 and never heard from him so are the wheel hubs splines different or should my 400 hubs fit a 250r axle, i need help and fast thanks

I Don't really rememeber which way it is But one has 1 more spine then the other I know this I put a lonestar 250r axle in my 400ex and I had to get 250r rear hubs Hope this helps!
