Sprocket Seal ?

Has anyone changed out their Sprocket Seal on 05 450r. Mine needs it bad and i don't wanna split the cases again. I just wanted to see if you could do it with out splitting the cases.

yea im pretty sure you can do it without splitting the cases. someone correct me if im wrong, i did it for my banshee and i didnt have to split the cases. good luck

I did it on my 04 and I dont think I needed the cases split.. I had them split for a new trans but I'm pretty sure I changed it after I put the case back together. Its only a little rubber seal if im not mistaken and im not talkin like a dust cover seal. Im not 100% though.. so im prob not a good help.. sorry

I'm sure that you don't have to split the cases.
If you go on thumpertalk.com do a search about it, allot of the CRF450 riders have changed them.
