Anybody here ever run any Kentucky Hare Scrambles?

I have ran like 4 or 5 races of the series this year in Open B class.

Was it worth going to? As far as being organized and a half way descent setup? How many atv's usually show up for B class and the whole race?

It just kinda depends on how bad you wan tto race and how far it is to drive for you. There have been from about 5-10 in B class. A class is usually bigger cause everyone thinks it will be easy money, but it isn't. There are usually about 40 quads total.

The first few races were not very organized, but they are learning and things are getting a lot better. The race a few weeks ago went fairly smooth. They are a new series, but they are trying to get things going, so if you get a bad taste at one race atlest give them another chance to see how things go. I think it will turn into a good series, they just need a little experience. I am going to try to race the last two races whenever they announce them and if I don't have any prior plans. Try one out.

I'm thinking about running the last 2 races.What all is required to be able to race....kill switch,ama/atva card and membership to district 10? Also, didn't they have to change location of the last 2 races?Ifso, have they announced where they're going to be held at?

Atva, kill switch, and I don't think you have to pay district 10 dues unless you are running those points. I checked the site earlier and they hadn't posted the new race locations yet, but they may be up now. I hope they post them soon. kyharescrambles.com

30 + B. Under the new rulls that is the only class I can run unless I run an A class.

I see you are stuck with 21 to 29 B.

Have you printed out the new rulls or looked at the rider advancements? 3 riders out of my class got bumped up to A. One of them finished below be in the points.

I haven't signed up for anything yet, but I have thought about just going to A class, but the way my luck was last year I would never do any good so I can't make up my mind. I looked at the new rules, but didn't pay much attention to them.
