Answer rooost boost

I bought a project hybrid that came with a box of parts that dont even go with it. One of the parts is an answer roost boost. I wa wondering if any body has used these and knows how to hook them up or how they work.

i think those were first out in the mid to late 80s.i believe they provided a so called"hotter spark".Like most things they were better on some models while others it wasnt noticeable.;)
