Look into Trail Tec lights. I have a set and they are sweet at night. I have them mounted on my frame with the Trail tec frame mounts.

this is the exact 1 i have ::make sure you seal it to waterproof it:::
EBAY Item number: 330036537356
then you will need a D2S bulb
EBAY Item number: 150044934240

then what i did was use high temp silicon to hold the bulb in

With the Trail Tech HID's you don't need to upgrade your stator. That's why they cost about double than the torch lights. They don't draw much power. I got the frame mounted ones and have some mounted on my frame and some on my handlebars. That way they shine where I'm turning too.

Thats the setup on my warrior. They are the trailtech MR16 HIDs which they don't make anymore.

One of my lamps went out last week. But one is still 10x brighter then my stock lights. I called trailtech and the lamp is 70 bucks, ballast is regular 50 but if my ballast would have been bad the women told me she could cut me a good deal on it because they don't make them anymore.

I can't see replacing the lamp for 70 because I hate the huge ballast that came with this set. The newer lights have a internal ballast on them. And the women at trailtech told me I could get a nice discount if I buy the newer version because I have the MR16s.

They have a wait list. Which isn't all that long. I think its atleast 2 days. But they are awesome people to deal with. I would spend 400 for a set of lights from them easy. Stockers and the aftermarket fog lights people use sometimes don't stand a chance on these lights.

If we night ride people hate it when I am behind them because if they turn around to look behind them they can't see anything. And I ride with a guy on a dirtbike often of course he doesn't have a light. We usually head back right at dark and in the trails its already dark. With me behind him he can be 10-15 feet in front of me and see just fine.
