anybody have trouble with the neutral position switch?

sometimes when its in neutral the light doesnt come on until you rev the motor or jiggle the wire. has anybody ever replaced or adjusted one of these?

I just tap the shifter on my 06 and it will come on.

it happens from time to time. As said just tap on he shifter lightly and the light shoul come on

I had to take the wires off of the bottom of the motor on my 02 and clean up all the connections, packed full of mud and it solved my problem. Not sure if that helps.

yup, I took a bad tumble on my quad and the connections by the lights got loosened up. Pulled the hood and cleaned/reconnected everything and now the neutral light works fine again.
