Why buy a new sety of shocks if you are planning on needing to revalve them just buy what works the first time

All shocks work great once they are valved correctly. Like Colby@C&DRacing said. Get the shock that is set up correctly the first time and save some $$$$. I have a buddy that is sponsored by Golden West Cycle and they have him running on quad rate fully adjustable Elkas. He told me it took several attempts to get his valved correctly. He tried my bike with the TCS and loved them. We are the same size and have the same riding style (I grew up riding with him) so, they are valved the same.

but im heard they are great after the revalving.

Why would you want to buy something that you are going to have to revalve. Buy TCS you will get them right the first time.

You should send your rear shock to TCS they do a hell of a job on rebuilng stock rear shocks.

Ya! I want to, but I doen't want to send my shock in and be w/ out a ride. 2 weeks is to long.
Is thre any one that will re-valve w/ out sending the core in first?

you could buy another rear shock off ebay and send it in. then sell your stocker on ebay once you get the revalved one on

That's what I would do.......I also got the rear shock rebuild, and it was the NICEST rear shock!!! Dual spring, black anodized......I will never buy a new aftermarket shock again - TCS will always be doing my rebuilds......excellent work!!

Did you guys know TCS is doing front rebuilds on YFZ's and on the LTR's now???

I have to agree, I have had both and the TCS shocks are much better. Like others here my Elkas were not valved right. I like the rear rebuild it is smooth. I'm still getting mine dialed in but so far I like them.

He is who I bought my suspension from on both bikes. Great guy to deal with.
