I bought a Blaster with a new CT240 Kit and after breaking it in, there is a large "flat spot" in the power. This is my first 2 stroke so I don't know it this is normal or what's up. In its past life it was a MX quad so I guess the porting is for MX.
Along with the 240 kit it has an LRD pipe, 35mm Keihin Carb, and a CFM airbox w/K&K, but the porting is unknown. I've been running 104 VP mixed with Maxima at 40:1.
The "flat spot" is somewhere between the low to mid range. I can put around fine but when I give it some juice it stutters (not sputter) then takes off like a F***ing rocket.
Does the larger petcock from Trenga cure this? Can I use a petcock from a larger quad?

HELP!!!!

Thanks

sounds like your just not used to a two stroke to me. you may want to play with the jetting a little just to double check. it will never be very powerful in the low end some of the mid range, but it should run with no issues. a blaster only has about 3500 rpm worth of useable power

yeah it sounds like your just below the powerband. mine is a dog on bottom end, but when the power hits you better be ready for it!!
